Documents and policies
How document generation works
From a short interview to a policy you have reviewed and approved.
Generic policy packs are one of the most common reasons small providers get findings. A policy that describes an organisation you are not is worse than no policy, because an auditor will test it against what you actually do. Our documents are built from your answers instead.
The process
- Interview. You answer a short set of plain-English questions for each document — who does what, how often, what you would do in specific situations. We pre-fill anything we already know from your profile.
- Draft. We generate a personalised draft with your legal entity, trading name, roles and processes in it.
- Review. You read it. Anything we could not answer appears as a clearly marked placeholder so it cannot slip through unnoticed.
- Approve. You confirm the document accurately describes how your organisation operates or intends to operate. That approval is recorded with a date, and the document becomes version 1.
- Update. Change an answer later and we tell you which documents are affected and create a new version, keeping the old one.
Your responsibility
Generated documents are drafts until you approve them. You are the provider: you are responsible for what your policies say and for making sure they are true. If a draft describes something you do not actually do, change the document or change the practice — do not approve it and hope.
Where AI assistance is used to help draft wording, it is labelled, and it must be reviewed and confirmed by you before the document counts as approved.
What makes a document strong at audit
- It names your entity and the real roles, even if that is just you
- It is short enough that you can remember what is in it
- It matches your registers and forms
- It has a version number, a date and a review date
- It has been acknowledged by anyone who has to follow it
Easy Compliance is independent of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. Approved documents are not endorsed or pre-approved by anyone but you.
